Setting up the web site 4/29/23

Writer: Daphne TappDaphne Tapp

I'm so tired!! The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of big ideas, sleepless nights, and glitter everywhere. My house looks like a freaking glitter bomb exploded in it. The ideas keep multiplying and growing; i hope that i have the power to bring them to fruition because i think it could make a difference. One of the things that started this whole thing was a discussion I had with my husband recently about how crazy it is, the difference between how people see me and how I see myself. Why are we so damn hard on ourselves??? People that meet me think I'm outgoing and fun and the life of a party- but very few know the real me. I feel like most of my life was spent alone and invisible. Huge parts of me were walled up and hidden, and I've been SO hard on myself. I focused on the failures, not the successes. It's not a happy life. It's not the life I want.

I need help remembering the good. I need encouragement. I need to know I'm SEEN. And I need to know that I'm not alone. There's strength in that. There's power in knowing that other people are quietly feeling and suffering the same way I am! So that's what this is going to be about. And the web site will allow others to share THEIR word, and THEIR story. And we can find comfort in knowing that we're NOT alone.

I'm so freaking excited!! lol What a ride we are about to take... I'm going to share my journey here, and I encourage everyone to go to the page where they can weigh in, and share their own story. TOGETHER!!

Daphne's blog

I'm putting my money where my mouth is!  I'm not going to ask others to share if I won't do it myself so... here is the personal blog of Daphne Lynn Tapp Worlety.  I do not write this blog because I think anyone should necessarily care what I have to say but rather with the wish that someone out there might identify or find a thought or circumstance that rings true in their own lives.  To hopefully gain the realization that we are not as alone as we sometimes feel.  Sometimes hearing an alternate viewpoint or way of thinking opens our minds to ideas and concepts that help us all grown as people, this is why therapy is so helpful.   So here's some free therapy! LOL  Use it as you will.
