It's been a while

So I haven't written in forever. I think it's because my thoughts and life have been so chaotic that I wasn't sure what to say. The health has still been a struggle. I had an allergy treatment for my Alpha Gal last year that worked for about 6-7 months, then it gradually started coming back, which was heartbreaking because I had prayed that it was over. No one can understand how those attacks make me feel, especially because the range of severity and the symptoms of Alpha Gal are so varied from person to person. But I just had another treatment with a different provider and I go back Friday to have a second treatment to make sure it takes this time. I'm hoping this will work!!

I finally decided to give up on my job and retire my license at the end of last year. It wasn’t an easy choice, I thought I would retire from that job. But surprisingly, I don’t miss my old job at all. It was clear that I needed a change and a fresh start to explore new things and rediscover what I love. But then I was left wondering: what should I be doing instead?

Finding my place in this new chapter has been tough. I’ve been struggling to figure out my purpose and find a reason to get out of bed in the morning with excitement. My daily routine has changed, and I’ve felt a bit lost. I've always wanted to help people, and it gives me the good feels to educate and offer positive experiences. The thing that I finally couldn't stand anymore was giving people bad news and telling people they couldn't afford a home. After much deliberation, I have finally decided to go all in as a travel concierge. This role will let me help people travel the world and create unforgettable memories. I can still be the go-to person for people- but for when they want to have the best vacation ever, not to borrow money.

Also have some exciting stuff going on with a new venture of opening a campground with friends of ours. I'll be the boots on the ground for getting it up and running, and we are going to have some kind of bar/restaurant on the property. And karaoke! Looking forward to what is to come there.

I've decided that from now on, I'm going to post frequently. I was always feeling like I had to construct a blog post that was eloquently written and had a big point to make. Instead, I'm going to write what I'm feeling, and people can like it or lump it lol, that is the point of a blog, to give people voices who might not have any other way. This is my voice so I'm going to start using it.
